Day-by-day itinerary
Welcome to Chongqing
Arrive and settle into your hotel at your own pace. In the evening, join an optional walk through Jiefangbei and the stepped lanes of Shibati, then take in Chongqing's famous night views — the Sujiaba viewing platform, the Nanbin Road waterfront, the mirror-like reflections of Tiankong Zhijing, and the 360° panorama from the Cloud Eye observation deck.
Monorail, history & the river
Begin at the Liziba monorail, where Line 2 trains run straight through a residential tower — one of the city's most photographed sights. Continue to Chongqing's wartime history sites, then in the afternoon board a Yangtze river cruise from Chaotianmen pier, passing beneath eight of the city's bridges to the Huguang Guild Hall and Tongluo Gorge.
Halal breakfast, lunch & dinnerOld Chongqing on foot
